How to add and subtract integers!
First of all I am going to teach you how to add and subtract integers. To add integers you are going to have two numbers. One may be positive and one may be negative, for example 8 + (-3) = 5. The reason why the answer is five is because it is basically 8 - 3. For a number line you will take eight steps to the right then 3 steps to the left because of the negative three.
To subtract integers you may have one positive integer and one negative integers. But you don't exactly have to have one negative and one positive you can have two of both. The equation I'm going to give you is 2 - 5 = -3. The reason why the answer is negative threes because 2 is smaller than five. So when two is subtracting five two does not bigger so it goes in the negative three more numbers.
